History of the firm
The company Estrella Es-Press, spol. s r.o. follows in the more than one-hundred-year tradition of manufacture of glass jewellery.
The firm was founded in 1892 by Mr Bohumil Hásek, who was a pioneer of technologies of the manufacture of pearl imitations and of cutting glass semi-products. After 1910, the production assortment was enlarged, and since then the firm manufactures imitation pearl beads, cut beads and pressed beads.
In 1948, the firm was nationalised and incorporated into the national enterprise Železnobrodské sklo (Železný Brod Glass). After the nationalisation, the firm went on to produce glass jewellery and glass beads, too.
The delimitation and constitution of Estrela a.s. (Inc.) dates from 1990. In 1994, the firm was privatised.
Actual status of the firm
At present, Estrella Es-Press, spol. s r.o. is a purely Czech firm, and the range of its production is the largest in the world.
Philosophy of the firm
The goal of the firm is to maintain its present position both on the European and world markets and to enlarge the circle of its customers. The management sees the way to achieve these aims in its personal approach to customers, provision of quality service, and accurate specialisation of the assortment with respect to every particular customer, all this in accordance with the development of new decorations and technologies.
Singularity of the firm
The uniqueness of our production consists in a wide range of colour shades and in high resistance of products to mechanical, chemical and light factors, this condition being achieved thanks to technologies and formulas of our own.
